Welcome to www.montferrer.fr, the official site of the Montferrer area. Montferrer is a mountain village, built at the foot of a feodal castle, with a panoramic view across the plain of Roussilllon as far as the Mediterranean coast. The village enjoys plenty of sunshine as it on the south-facing base of Mount Canigou, the sacred mountain of Southern Catalonia. There is very little wind, and the air is fresh and invigorating, wich makes Montferrer an ideal place to spend a relaxing holiday.
